e-Luminate Festival

This animation was produced for the Museum of Zoology (Cambridge University) as part of the e-Luminate festival 2017. The piece was inspired by the museum's iconic Fin Whale specimen and was produced to celebrate the city's rich heritage across scientific fields. Originally designed for the festival in 2016, the animation was enhanced with additional soft-tissue elements and trivia for the 2017 event. It also featured in the Cambridge Science Festival in the same year. Vector artwork created from photographic reference in Illustrator & animated in After Effects.

2017's installation, featuring skeletal, soft tissue and surface tissues, plus interactive elements, developed in association with the Cambridge Museum of Zoology.
